Don’t postpone a makeover because of messy kids. I recommend spending money on your couch and budgeting on the accessories and fillers. The couch is a big focal point in your family room / living room. This is an area of home decor that really needs to be considered!

Mix the Metallics
Metallic finishes already add plenty of sparkle, but the sheen will make a bigger impact in a variety of colors. Mixing gold and silver is not only acceptable today, but they’re smart together. The key is to use a lot of both; you can’t be shy with one or the other.
